This piece is artisanally hand dyed with locally grown plants and hand pleated one pleat at a time, resulting in a singular fabric with subtle hues and unique texture that has become Azur’s signature.
Delicate and fragile, the pleating on silk requires gentle handling. Be mindful that perspiration or contact with water can flatten the pleats.

Only use professional dry-cleaning to take care of your piece.

Azur was founded in Marseille (France) in 2019 by Lisa Favreau and Lisa Guedel-Dolle.
Deeply committed to adopt transparent and sustainable practices, with responsibly sourced natural materials, in close collaboration with local craftswomen and partners. Each pieces is crafted in France with respect for people and the environment, from organic, fair-trade and cruelty free 100% silk fabric woven in Jharkhand (India); 50% GOTS cotton and 50% linen fabric woven in Étupes (France); 100% merino wool from France. They are naturally hand-dyed with locally grown plants, hand-pleated, hand-felted and sewn in Marseille (France).
